As Joe Biden’s legitimacy as a candidate continues to be questionable at best, both his running mate Kamala Harris, and Biden himself, are dropping not-so-subtle hints that Harris will be the true leader of the United States if they are to win in November.
In a virtual round table this week, Kamala Harris confidently declared “A Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States," before launching into their plan for loans and investments to minority business owners.
Just one day later, Biden made the same “slip,” at a campaign event in Tampa, Fla. clearly stating “a Harris-Biden administration,” with no attempt to correct his error.
For those on-the-fence Democrats who lulled themselves into a false sense of security that Joe Biden was the Moderate candidate they could stomach amidst a herd of Socialists, these hints should come as a slap in the face.
Kamala Harris ran for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination for the entirety of 2019 - eventually ending her campaign on December 3 due to lack of funds. She did not elicit enough interest or donations to become the Democractic candidate. And yet, the far left-wing is still pulling strings to put a Socialist in the White House.
If you thought you were voting for Joe Biden, a Moderate Democrat, on November 3, think again.
Is Kamala Harris a Socialist?
So where does Kamala Harris stand on the Hot Button issues of 2020?
Harris has frequently hidden behind her self-proclaimed personas of "progressive prosecutor" and "top cop," although neither party has been particularly impressed with her track record as San Francisco district attorney. She flip-flopped on the death penalty, and while she now speaks of legalizing marijuana at the national level, her office oversaw over 1,900 cannabis convictions.
Now, she would like to "reimagine how we do public safety in America" - not an open call to defund police departments, but instead giving herself room to do so without being slammed as Progressive.
Harris co-sponsored Senator Bernie Sanders' 2017 Medicare for All bill to provide government-run medical insurance for every American. She has expressed a desire to eliminate private health insurance companies.
These are not the official platform of Joe Biden, who supports President Obama's Affordable Care Act.
These are the issues that the left will bait-and-switch if Harris makes it to office.
The Green New Deal
Harris was a co-sponsor of the Green New Deal, advocating overhauling the US economy to tackle climate change at a cost of up to $91 trillion over 10 years. Conservatives have called it a "socialist manifesto". Harris joined forces with self-described socialists Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders on the Green New Deal.
Biden has not endorsed the Green New Deal, which is a sticking point for many Moderate Democrats. If you think that voting for Biden will eliminate the Green New Deal from coming to fruition and costing every household $600,000, think again.
Harris and Biden are both strong advocates for increased gun control. Harris supports extreme gun control measures, including more regulation of gun manufacturers, mandatory background checks, tightening loopholes, and a ban on assault weapons. Harris would even consider a mandatory buyback of assault weapons.
Harris is the child of immigrants, and has pledged a path to citizenship to all of the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. She also supports decriminalizing border crossings by undocumented immigrants and providing taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants crossing the border into the U.S.
But perhaps most offensively, Harris compares Customs Enforcement to the Ku Klux Klan, as though those policing the entry of illegal and undocumented immigrants are the same as white supremecists.
Don’t Be Fooled
Don’t be fooled - Joe Biden referring to a “Harris-Biden administration” is not one of his infamous gaffes. It is scripted foreshadowing of what’s to come. If you thought that Joe Biden represented a palatable and moderate Democrat in office, you were sorely mistaken - he is simply clearing the way for a socialist Kamala Harris presidency.
